FAQs

What kind of podcast is this?

Roll With Adventure is an immersive, storytelling podcast that uses the 5th Edition rules for Dungeons and Dragons from Wizards of the Coast.

Why is some of your content is inconsistent with D&D 5e?

The ruleset we are using is purely 5th edition Dungeons and Dragons (with maybe a few home brew exceptions - come on, don’t tell me every table doesn’t have their quirks). That said, you may have noticed that we are also using resources from Studio Agate’s FateForge, Petersen Games, and Kobold Press.

Who did the amazing character art for Salt and Blood?

Roll With Adventure commissioned the talented artist, Lalou, to create the character art for our five intrepid Campaign 2 characters. Click the link to see more of her more of her wonderful creations.

Where does the content come from?

The content of the podcast is purely from the imaginations of the Dungeon Master and the players. This is a work of fiction. Names, characters, business, events and incidents are the products of the podcasters’ imaginations. Any resemblance to actual persons, living or dead, or actual events is purely coincidental.

Do you really want to hear from your listeners?

Of course! You guys are the whole reason we are putting all of our time and money into making these podcasts publicly available for free. We love what we’ve created and we hope you love it too. We definitely want to hear from you. Drop us a line and let us know how you’re enjoying the story. We look forward to hearing from you.

Your music is great! Where is it from?

We have been very fortunate to find a lot of great music online. If you hear something you like, please check out that episode’s description on our Podcasts page as we provide song and artist information there.

Where are the website pictures from?

Many of the pictures used on this website were taken by Alli - in fact all of the uncredited photos are her amateur photography. Other photos on this website are credited and show you where they came from; most of them are from Unsplash. We also have some drawings courtesy of Brian, one of Roll With Adventure’s players.
